Introduction:

As the Meridian Inn this was thought to be the oldest pub in Bollington. Now it has been largely rebuilt and transformed into a beautiful restaurant. Takaway on the side.

Food:

This is a fish restaurant with a fish and chip takeaway at the side. Excellent quality, the pensioners' lunch special is enough to keep you for a week!

Located on the main street that runs the length of Bollington, The Plaice is found near the north end in the narrow part of the street, adjacent to the entrance to Tullis Russell, on the high ground between Pool Bank car park and the traffic island. Please park in Pool Bank.
