Long standing country pub with a pleasant friendly interior of cosy corners.

Brews:

Black Sheep and Duchars IPA plus a guest all on cask; Flowers IPA on tap together with Stellar, Carling, Strongbow and Guinness. Excellent wine list.

Food:

Freshly prepared traditional meals using seasonal and local produce. Gareth is a masterful chef. The dishes are exquisitely good. The braised lamb and the taste of pork are utterly delicious! From the Bollington Road roundabout on the Silk Road, aim for Bollington, but after only 50 metres turn right into Clarke Lane. The Lord Clyde is nearly half a mile on the left. Half a mile west of Macclesfield Canal bridge 29 and the Middlewood Way.
