Sue & Leah Stevenson - mother and daughter

Introduction:

Based on a working farm in 17thC buildings, Sue Stevenson has won more prizes for the quality of her B&B and self catering cottage accommodation than you could shake a stick at! Located in a fold of the hills on the east of the Peak District National Park the scenery is fabulous with views down the valley through the hills to the low lands of the Cheshire Plain in the distance, as far even, on a really clear day, as the Welsh mountains!

This B&B comes with wonderful farmhouse cooking, complete with demo if you want it, or even a complete course in cookery or art!

You might think of a B&B as a one or two night stop off but this establishment is so well renowned and popular that visitors come from all over the world to spend their entire holiday here!

Self cateringExternal link also available in a beautifully converted barn.

Food:

A highlight, Sue is an expert among chefs. It may be B&B but dinner is something of an experience! Food experiencesExternal link

Other facilities:

Walks in every direction. Bollington and Pott Shrigley are just a couple of miles down the valley.

The address is Macclesfield Road but this is about a mile and a half on the Whaley Bridge side of Rainow! When traveling north along the B5470 from Rainow or Bollington, pass the Highwayman Inn on your right, the road curves round to the left then comes to a sharp right hand bend. The farm entrance slips off to the left as you enter the bend. Follow the farm road for a quarter of a mile to the farm yard.
